Co-parents work with a Parent Coordinator to help them discuss their children and resolve parenting disputes in the most productive way possible. Parents may contact a Parent Coordinator at their own initiative, be referred to the process by their attorneys or may, in some cases, be ordered to it by a Court.
Parenting Coordination aims to decrease co-parenting conflict, improve parents’ communication, make the children’s needs a priority, and help parents resolve disputes.
The Parent Coordinator helps parents implement the terms of their Parenting Agreement or Custody Order and make necessary decisions regarding their children.
Here at the Burr Law Firm, our Parent Coordinator Kayla is a skilled and experienced professional who understands that parents sometimes need support implementing the terms of a parenting agreement or court order. We recognize that children are best served when parents can work together to make child-focused decisions and when they are shielded from conflict. Our role is to help co-parents navigate challenging conversations, support respectful communication, and ensure that the children’s best interests remain the top priority.
